Singapore used to be home to many dried cuttlefish snack manufacturers during the 1950s to 1980s. However, with the onset of modernisation, there was a shift away from labour-intensive industries. The pressure to streamline manufacturing processes has unfortunately resulted in the gradual decline of many of these manufacturers who eventually ceased their operations. Most of the dried cuttlefish snacks you find in small-scale mama shops or large supermarkets across the country today are produced overseas.

We are one of the remaining members in the industry who still manufacture our own brand of cuttlefish snacks. Our founder, Mr. Shannon Lee, belongs to a new generation of leaders aspiring to reintroduce consumers to Singapore’s fading food heritage.
